Pauschaltouristen nur noch handlich Domrep genannt, in Tourineusprech. Im Haitikapitel wird Vodoo in einem Atemzug mit dem Nachtleben genannt. Unbekannter sind die British Leeward Islands, und die Dutch windwards in the Leewards, aber es gibt sie. Jamaica kriegt ein eigenes Kapitel, schließlich haben "die" mal bei den Olymp. Spielen teilgenommen, und Kingston tönt aus dem Radio. Martinique, Guadelopue, St. Martin und St. Barthélemy werden unter French West Indies zusammengefaßt, schließlich kann man dort mit Euro bezahlen.
