This is a handsome little copy of this children's book which in 2007 was named the public's favourite winning work of the award's first fifty years naming it as the 'Greenaway of Greenaways'. The covers are bright, bearing Shirley Hughes lovely illustration of Dogger and Dave, produced in Shirley Hughes' distintictive style. Binding is very very good, being stapled as required. The contents very lightly age-toned otherwise clean, bright and unmarked with the author's gorgeous illustrations throughout. The story of the little boy who loses his favourite toy and then finally finds it after much searching, is a timeless classic. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
