Harold Pinter (1930-2008) was known not only as an author, but also as a playwright, screenwriter, director and actor, and over his lifetime he received over fifty awards, prizes, and other honours, including the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2005 and the French Legion d'honneur in 2007. All housed in a publisher's slipcase covered with rust cloth matching the book, paper label inset on the front with black lettering and a single rust decorative rule. ___CONDITION: Fine, with a strong, square text block, solid hinges, perfectly straight corners with no rubbing, the interior is clean and bright, and it is entirely free of prior owner markings. The wallet with the signed print are both also fine, with no creases or edge wear. The prospectus and letter are fine, clean and without wear, each with an indentation from a paperclip on the top edge.
