Paperback. Condition: Good. THERE ARE NO TARIFFS OR CUSTOMS DUTIES ON BOOKS. This catalogue represents the first exhibition by the Messum Gallery of Devon painters. Amongst the artists featured are :- John White Abbot (1763 - 1851), James Leakey (1775 - 1865), William Traies (1789 - 1872), Nicholas Condy (1799 - 1851), Nicholas Matthew Condy (!816 - 1851), William Widgery (1826-1893), Frederick John Widgery (1861 - 1942), William Williams 1808 - 1895), John Wallace Tucker 1808 - 1869), Thomas Luny 1759 - 1837). The front of the catalogue lists a brief history of each artist. There are one or two colour plates but most pictures are depicted in black and white with the sizes of the canvas and whether they are signed, along with the date painted.
