Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 3rd Edition. 3rd. edn. Printed by Sydney Lee, Exeter, 1962. Illustrated card front cover, metal ring bound, 213pp. small mark to front cover and inside front cover heavily browned else a very good clean copy. Edited by Mrs. Blackmore of Peter s Marland W.I. who tested all of the recipes. The first chapter consists of authentic old Devonshire dishes but there are many others included in the following chapters together with many old English recipes handed down through Devonshire families with very few of the usual imported dishes from other lands. To my mind this is one of, if not the best, W.I. cookery books.
