Oliver Bainbridge was an Australian born author, lecturer and explorer (1877-1922), known for his entertaining lectures, which were masterpieces of wit and eloquence according to Julius Otto. Illustrations by "vet" Anderson. VG copy in original red pictorial cloth showing the devil at his writing desk. Small bump to the top of the back board. Small ink stain to the top of fore-edge, toning to end-papers but otherwise clean internally. Collectible copy rarely seen on the market.
