This book is an affectionate satire on modern Texan society, enhanced by Ralph Steadman's witty illustrations. Black cloth covers with gilt lettering on spine. Complete with pictorial non p/c dustjacket by Steadman with very slight wear to top edges. Overall NF/VG+. 8vo. 222pp.

Enclosed are several relevant newspaper cuttings and a short handwritten letter from the author. Slight dusting to top edge. 222pp. This novel is based on an English academic, Dr Oliver Stanley, who inadvertently conjures up Lilith, the beautiful female demon avatar of the White goddess. This happened whilst copying out spells in an American University and although it is set in Texas, there is plenty of universal appeal and wit, enhanced by the illustrations of Ralph Steadman.
