First edition. 8vo. 20 pp. "With the respects of J.H. Stickney" in type on title page (possibly the author?). Advocating the system "of dividing the entire State into towns or townships . each being a body corporate, having and exercising all the powers necessary to the management of its own affairs -- a local government by all the people." Relatively uncommon, OCLC locates 14 copies in two entries, one attributing authorship to Stickney. Original printed salmon wrappers (moderately soiled; lightly creased from folding vertically). A very good copy.
