Denver: Entertainment Advertising Company, May 1959. [1]f. Six-panel, double-sided, fold-out brochure with integral map. 9½ x 4 inches, unfolding to approx. 19 x 24 inches. Half tones and other illustrations; ads. Printed in two colors. Near fine. Exuberant 1950s promotional brochure for the restaurants, supper clubs, cocktail bars and night clubs of Denver, Colorado. A pictorial, stylized map of Denver indicates the locations of the leading advertisers. Surrounding the map there are 23 delightful ads illustrated with great '50s graphics for such dining and entertainment venues as the "Back Door" cabaret (with singing waiters), the "Aeroplane Club," "Bastien's Restaurant," "George Manley's Steak House," "Andy's Smorgasbord," "The Playboy" cocktail lounge, and the "Santa Anita Lounge and Drive-Inn Restaurant." Also seen are two supper clubsa concept first popularized in the 1930s and 1940s: "Taylor's Supper Club" and "The Beacon." This copy issued compliments of (in rubber stamp:) "Rabbit Ears Motel, Steamboat Springs, Colo.".
