Some wear to bottom end of spine and lower corners of orang…e boards, boards are a bit bowed (bent, but not creased), and the book smells a bit of being shut away in a cupboard or similar, but that should fade. But otherwise a not too bad, tight copy of this early novel by the author. NOT one of his historical tales, but a story involving Nazi agents in the Scottish Borders during WW2 . Originally published in 1944, this is the fourth reprint from 1948. 223pp. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
