Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt title on spine and gilt design on front. Folio. Spine rubbed at ends and sun faded. Cloth worn through where spine meets rear cover at head. Bottom of covers bumped and small 1cm tear in cloth on verso. Cloth worn through on front corners, else mildly worn. Blemish on front paste down. Library embossed stamps on prelim pages and then occasionally throughout. Overall tight and bright. With an extensive introduction on the history and printing of initial letters and their design and use.

Internally, pages clean throughout. A good clean solid copy. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
