This book for children describes "the lives" of nine animals and birds that were seen at Beetle Rock in the Sequois National Park in California.There are b/w illustrations of each animal or bird by Henry Kane in each chapter. There is a two page scene on the inside cover and ffl in front and back. The book contains 196 pages which are free of all marks, tears and folds. There is a gift inscription on the Half Title page. The condition is Very Good. The blue cloth cover has a squirrel impressed on front; the title and author are stamped in gold on spine, which is faded somewhat. The binding is tight.
