A booklet, privately printed (perhaps by Duryea's attorney), of Frank Duryea's first complete account of the development of America's first gasoline-powered automobile. Included are copies of news articles, court documents, letters, and more. This booklet was distributed only among libraries and historical societies and not availble for sale to the general public. Good+ interior but with library tape to covers and a small piece missing from back cover; one light museum ex-lib. stamp on first page.
