Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket (as published). An illustrated guide book to the English counties of Devon and Cornwall. Fold out maps are in good order. Plenty of period advertisements. not dated but there is evidence of previous ownership on the front free end paper and title page, both are dated 1910. The red cloth covered boards and worn / handled and the red colour has leached into the page edges of the last few pages. Otherwise clean and sound. Please email with any queries. In red cloth covered boards with gilt titles front and spine, red speckled text block edges (boards a little rounded on corners, slightly sunned spine, and rubbed a little at spine tips). A touch of tanning on endpapers only, else internally neat, clean and bright. A well-researched guide to the North Devon and North Cornwall area, for travellers and tourists of the 1920s, covering landscape, towns and villages, historic sites and regional history etc. Uncommon.

A little loss of colour to front cloth and small white mark, possibly specks of paint or chalk(see photo). Tiny name & date at bottom of ffep, no other inscriptions. Nice, clean copy. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
