The sequence was commissioned for presentation in Salisbury Cathedral during Holy Week 1983 and was first performed there on 28 March that year. Issued in a total edition of 100 copies, this example is numbered 21 of the first 25, specially bound by Clare Skelton, signed by Michael Justin Davis and Simon Brett on the colophon and issued with the extra suite of proof plates on japon.
