Presentation copy of the First Edition, apparently inscribed by Bruner to Harvard colleague Henry "Harry" Murray, though without Murray's ownership marking. xi, 1 leaf, 289 pp. Original cloth. Near Fine, in very good+ dust jacket. Inscribed on front flyleaf: "To Harry/with much affection/and good will/Jerry." The previous seller has written "inscribed Murray" in pencil on the flyleaf, and from the same seller I obtained another book -- inscribed to Murray by another Jerry, Bruner -- with the same notation on the flyleaf. Murray is referred to on pp. 21 and 204.
