The illustrations are drawings of Coptic cover designs by…Theodore C. Petersen for the Pierpont Morgan Library in New York, and were printed onto vellum. Two hundred copies were xerographically reproduced on Mohawk paper and bound by volunteers at the Center using an early stabbed sewing model also employed by the Copts, of which this copy is not bound.
