The object of this book is to meet the need of a good textbook on Continuous Current Engineering concerned mainly with engineering practice, but containing a sufficient amount of electrical science to form the necessary theoretical basis. In this third edition, more space has been devoted to tungsten filament lamps, particularly the gas-filled type.
