Slight fading to spine and around the edges of the front panel with a few small white dots to the rear panel but otherwise the boards are clean and unmarked. Page edges browned with some scattered dark spots on the fore edges. Some patches of browning to the endpapers with brown spots around the edges of a number of pages but the pages are otherwise unmarked. The book has come from the home of a smoker however so it does have a fairly strong odour to it. The jacket has some edge rubbing, light surface creasing to the front panel, small tape marks to the rear flap, slight chipping at the top and bottom of the spine and a little discolouration to the rear panel.
