A second recipe ("proved by a respectable gentleman of New Kent County") appears below the main text "A Certain cure for the Poll Evil," [four lines in very small print} suggesting the use of live frogs to be rubbed on the Horse's inflamed bursa. Not in either Hummel. Not located on OCLC. Thoroughly browned, a little wear around the edges, but very good.
