Catalogue title from upper cover. 4to; original green boards; pp. (i) +45 (printed recto's); tables. Boards rubbed and a little bumped; hand-stamp in Hebrew characters to front free endpaper, rear pastedown and Contents page; ownership inscriptions to front free endpaper and elsewhere; regular, light browning; minor foxing. Good. A description of the moshav, or small-holders' cooperative settlement, system in Israel, in which individual families on their farms are separate economic and social units, but purchasing and marketing of agricultural commodities and crops is conducted cooperatively. The focus in this case study is on the villages in Lakhish.
