Morocco. Condition: Good. Third Edition. 1769 The Third Edition, with some Improvements. Size Quarto, 10.5" x 8.25", unnumbered pages. Bound in later burgundy textured morocco with four raised bands to the spine and gilt titles in the second and fourth compartments, marbled pastedowns and endpapers. Condition good, leather and hinges split 1" at the head and tail of the spine, lacking the title page and frontispiece. Contains the Dedications to King George III and the Queen, includes the prefaces to the First and Second Editions. Pages are generally clean throughout, a few odd spots here and there, last 20 or so leaves with more spots, texts very readable. A full and comprehensive Concordance to the Bible and also the Books of the Apocrypha. The Concordance is in two parts. Part I, The Appellative or Common words. and Part II, The Proper Names in the Scriptures. To which is added, "A Concordance to the Books called Apocrypha".
