    Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Rare 1908 book. Illustrated, with an introduction by H.A. Davis, LL.B., member of the Alteona Bar. Issued without a dust jacket. Light brown cloth binding with illustrated front and back covers, and red and black lettering. The lettering on the upper left portion of the front cover is rubbed. Minor edge wear on top and bottom of spine. Bumped areas on the top of the front and back cover and on the corners. Pastedowns, pages, and text block edges are uniformly age-tanned, but that does not impede reading. Faint musty odor but no mildew or mildew smell. Price of 5 cents is handwritten on front free end page. Binding is sturdy. Illustrations are in good shape and not faded, including the frontispiece portrait of the author. Aside from the age-toning, pages and text block edges are clean and unmarked. Condition is Good+ at minimum and Very Good for its age! Images shown are of actual item. Free shipping within the US.
