Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Presumed First Edition (NAP). 'Report of a Study Group of the Institute of Public Administration to Mayor John V. Lindsay, September, 1966.' There is an extra fold at the bottom of the rear inside cover which holds three different items.1) a 22 x 20" color map titled City Of New York Housing Planning Development Program. Different colors identify the following: Demonstration City Areas, Second Priority Urban Renewal Areas, Federally Assisted Code Enforcement Areas, Special Area Development & Planning Programs, Neighborhood Conservation Areas, Staten Island, Industrial Development Areas, Central Business District Improvement Areas, Open Space. I can with absolute confidence describe the condition of this map as perfect. 2) The second item is also a map. It is titled Existing Housing and Renewal Projects New York City. Different colors identify Renewal and Service Areas, Low Income Housing, And Middle Income Housing. This map is 15 x 15". Again, perfect condition. The third item is titled New York City Housing, Planning, Development Agency/Organization Charts. There are a number of these charts, most are foldout. This item is 10.5 x 8.5". It is exceptionally clean and in, very good, very solid, shape. No markings, no writing, no issues. Very solidly bound. This brings us to the book itself which is 52 pages long. I've provided photographs. This book is bound by two staples. The one at the bottom is no longer attached at the front or rear cover. The one at the top is attached to both the front and rear cover, so the covers are attached to the textblock. Most importantly both staples securely bind all the pages in the book, from the first page to the last page. You won't find any cracks or spaces between any pages, they are nicely tight. The pages are also in excellent condition, exceptionally clean and without any creasing or dogeared corners. No one has written their name or anything else anywhere in this book. There aren't any markings and this is NOT ex-library. You can see the covers in the photographs provided there is a little bit of darkening at the margins, a small tear where the bottom staple was, and that pretty much covers condition. A very unusual item.
