It was predicted at that time that ambitious amphibious warfare as well as the air war was needed as the war continued. This did indeed play out, as well noted especially in Normandy, on D-Day, June 6, 1944.The book includes illustrations, maps, as well as the detailed, very interesting text, of great interest to any student of military tactics and/or World War II.
