First Edition Signed
Condition: Overall about fine. Signed first editions of the first 15 titles in Evanovich's popular series about a woman bounty hunter, from ONE FOR THE MONEY through LEAN MEAN THIRTEEN, and with the first two holiday novellas. After a stellar career writing category romances (first for Second Chance at Love, then Loveswept), Evanovich has said that she "ran out of sexual positions and decided to move into the mystery genre" (White, "Conversation"). She has described her Stephanie Plum books as "adventure novels that combine romance elements with mystery elements" with "the sexual chase" of romance novels, but "involve more pizza and cursing and have more explosions" (BJ's interview). The titles here are ONE FOR THE MONEY, TWO FOR THE DOUGH, THREE TO GET DEADLY, FOUR TO SCORE, HIGH FIVE, HOT SIX, SEVEN UP, HARD EIGHT, VISIONS OF SUGAR PLUMS (first holiday novella), TO THE NINES, TEN BIG ONES, ELEVEN ON TOP, TWELVE SHARP, PLUM LOVIN' (second holiday novella), and LEAN MEAN THIRTEEN. A terrific set. 13 volumes 9.25'' x 6''; two novellas 8.25'' x 5.25''. Original paper boards. In original unclipped dust jackets. Each volume signed by Evanovich on integral leaf (except VISIONS OF SUGAR PLUMS, signed on publisher's tipped-in bookplate). A few very light bumps to spine ends or corners. Crisp, clean, largely unread.
