Jacket edgeworn and chipped with a large half-dollar sized portion of the upper spine lacking and a 1.5" tear to the front panel. Light age-toning to pages. Manly Palmer Hall (1901-1990) was an enormously prolific philosopher, mystic and author who in his lifetime published more than 150 books and articles, and delivered thousands of lectures. He founded the Philosophical Research Society, dedicated to the study of religion, mythology, and metaphysical science.
