Collects the contents of three rare collections of verse, LOVE, SLEEP & DREAMS (1881?), MYRTLE, RUE AND CYPRESS (1883), and THE SHADOW OF DEATH (1893), all the poetry published by Count Stenbock during his lifetime. A fine copy. (#170230).

Cllects all the poems together from his three volumes of poetry: Love, Sleep & Dreams (1881), Myrtle, Rue & Cypress (1883) and The Shadow of Deat (1893). The texts are edited by David Tibet, who has also contributed an introduction discussing the rarity of the original editions of the books, and an appendix with comprehensive notes to the poems; translations of those non-English texts used in the poems are also to be found in the Appendix. Laid in is a separate short poem ''Ballad Of Creditors'' which states (in part) ''This card.is inserted into the Durtro edition of the Collected Poems Of S. E. Stenbock''. 400 copies printed. Fine copy in pictorial boards, as issued without dustjacket (as new).
