In a blue-gray paper-covered slipcase, with the number 127 in pencil on the side. Some scattered brown spotting (foxing) is present on the endpapers and to pp. [1]-[14], and similar lighter brown spotting to pp. 50-56, and to other pages. The scarce original slipcase shows browning to the paper, light edge wear. A scarce, and very attractive Rowfant Club publication, with designs by Cleveland, Ohio born artist, Thomas A. Sindelar.

Presentation inscription on front free endpaper: "The Philobiblon Club with regards of John S. Wood." Wood was a "fellowe" of the Rowfant Club, i.e. member of its board. Spine slightly darkened, else near fine.

Condition: Good. Cleveland, OH 1892 Age discoloration and foxing to wraps, with chipping along edges, and lower right corner torn off. Dried stain likely to lower edges based on rippling.
