In a blue-gray paper-covered slipcase, with the number 127 in pencil on the side. Some scattered brown spotting (foxing) is present on the endpapers and to pp. [1]-[14], and similar lighter brown spotting to pp. 50-56, and to other pages. The scarce original slipcase shows browning to the paper, light edge wear. A scarce, and very attractive Rowfant Club publication, with designs by Cleveland, Ohio born artist, Thomas A. Sindelar.

Presentation inscription on front free endpaper: "The Philobiblon Club with regards of John S. Wood." Wood was a "fellowe" of the Rowfant Club, i.e. member of its board. Spine slightly darkened, else near fine.
Condition: Good. Cleveland, OH 1892 Age discoloration and foxing to wraps, with chipping along edges, and lower right corner torn off. Dried stain likely to lower edges based on rippling. Page widths are not uniform, leading to some light tearing of wider pages. Possible signature by William Gaylord at top of front cover. 204 of 250.
