Lincoln Jr. graduated from Harvard College in 1802, studied law, and established a successful legal practice. In addition to his tenure as governor, Lincoln Jr. was appointed as an Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and later served as the first Mayor of Worcester, contributing significantly to the development of the city.
