Condition: Fair. 1946. First Published. 224 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Owner's stamp to front free endpaper, rear pastedown, half title page and title page. Light foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and front hinge, exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. UK hardback first impression. Good with some mottling marks to blue boards, in jacket that is complete, but Poor, with extensive repairs in paper to reverse for tonr front panel.

First Edition. 1946 1st edition, tightly bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine; cover is blotchy, discoloured and damp-affected. Dust jacket not price-clipped; light wear and tear to edges and corners of front; back has two large tears; spine has a horizontal tear and two moderately large losses. Internally, though, this copy is clean and tidy. Used - Good. Good hardback in Fair dust jacket.
