This map is from the Atlas of Worcester, Massachusetts and Vicinity by F.W. Beers, and printed in 1870. Any resident of the featured area will appreciate the window into another time offered by these maps- making them fantastic gifts. All maps show great detail and are hand colored in bright pastels. This map measures 11 inches by 14 inches.

First Edition. Quarto. Complete with 20 hand colored maps, several large folding maps. Including towns bordering Lake Champlain: Champlain, Chazy, beekmantown, Plattsburgh, and Peru, with a very large folding map of Plattsburgh. 2 pages of views. The binding is shabby, front cover present but detached. Maps are Very Good with some minor edge wear to some, and a short split at fold of a couple folding maps. Scare atlas.

This hand-colored and detailed map is from the "Atlas of Hunterdon Co., New Jersey", published in 1873 by Beers, Comstock, & Cline. It was compiled under the superintendence of F.W. Beers from "recent and actual surveys and records". This map gives a very interesting glimpse of Hunterdon County almost 130 years ago. This map measures 22.5 inches by 15 inches.
