Square 16mo, pp vii, [1], [455], half title, unpaginated double-column dictionary, bound in oriignal plain sheep, spine gilt rubbed, rubbed and cracked at joints but holding well, one or two minor spots or stains and pencil marks. but good clean tight copy, FIRST EDITION, an example of a well-kept schoolbook of the 18th Century with 1801 ownership of one Maria Clark who evidently read it - part of the letter 'A' at least.
