Argues that Karl Marx's basic propositions about class & capitalism are as valid as then he originated his theories, & attempts to expound on the social conflict perspective on class theory. Orig. published in hardcover in 1983, this is the First Trade Paperback Edition from that same year, in 674 pages. Condition is VG+: , just removed from storage where is was packed after being received brand new for review in an academic publication, it has a tad of external edgewear, including a short unclosed tear at head of spine where it meets the back cover. Two pages were dogeared & unfolded. Else, completely clean & bright, binding strong & straight, pages white & unmarked save for very faint remains of nonreproducible blue pencil editorial marks in table of contents only.
