Page block edges clean. Internally also near fine with no inscriptions. Just one tiny crease to the top corner of p.141/2 - otherwise no creases or tears. No foxing - pages clean. Paper stock slightly tanned as usual. ***202 pages plus four pages of publisher's adverts at the back of the book. 178 mm x110 mm. ***First impression of the first UK paperback edition of this futurist novel by the Polish poet and novelist Jerzy Peterkiewicz. The hardcover edition published by Macmillan in 1966 had a very small print run, and this softcover edition, published in 1968, is also quite scarce, as sales were poor and many copies were apparently pulped. A nice collectable copy of this classic work of the 1960s - a collaboration between writer and artist. (N.B.
