Cloud, California At Bottom, The Ranch Was Developed As "Ah-Di-Na" By William R. Whittier, Southern California Oil Company Owner, After Whom The City Of Whittier Is Named; Fitzhugh Bought It In 1919. Fitzhugh Died In 1929; His Obituary Was In The New York Times, And He Left A Fortune Of About $3,000.,000 ( A Lot In 1929). Some Of His Indian Art Work Is Now In The Museum Of The American Indian. William Randolph Hearst Bought The Ranch In 1936 And It Was A Showplace Into The 1940'S, But It Fell Into Neglect And The U. S. Forest Service Acquired It In 1965.
