The lead poem is an ode to this wind that farmers hope for when frost descends before harvest is done; the last lines read: "For like an angel in disguise/ Mild Chinook comes and Winter flies/ And so when front is in the heart/ Let Chinook Wind its warmth impart". Jacket reflects same artwork, original price intact and shows well in a new mylar sleeve. Pretty book. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
