Condition: Very good. 32mo (4 ½" x 3 ¼"); 64pp; brown ribbed cloth over board, blind stamped borders and ornaments, gilt stamped cherub with a titled banner, decorated front and rear; tan endpapers; ink ownership with inscription on front flyleaf dated 1841; engraved frontispiece; light shelf wear to boards, light scattered foxing and light soiling to some leaves; very good. A Biblical exhortation of the verse found in Exodus 20:12, "Honor thy father and thy mother." Aimed at young adults or young parents, the verse, by exposition, is expounded upon using Biblical stories and examples.
