Condition: good. (Old Maps, Europe, France, Local Maps, Pocket Maps, Gascony, Southern France, Epernay, Chalons, Reims, St. Menhould, Bar le Duc, Pau, Tarbes). Chalons- No. 17. Published c. 1900-20's, France. Large color lithographed folding map. Text in French. Publisher's envelope (same publisher but diff. map number on cover). Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition. Paper covers gently age worn, slight rubbing, remains overall clean and attractive as an object. Text block paper is gently toned, signs of handling, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Still attractive on the shelf. The fragile pamphlet displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique item survives. Envelope measures c. 7 1/4" H x 5 1/4" W. Map sheet 20 1/2" H x 26 3/4" W.[B3610].
