Rear hinge with wear and a few areas… of loosened weave. Corners rubbed, bowed, but no board exposure. An invoice dated 31 Oct 1937 from W. H. Smith & Son, Ltd. for the book is laid in. Floral endpapers have toning but are bright. Prelims and last endpaper with toning, foxing. Internally some soil, mostly finger ink smudges and in good+/VG- condition.
