VG/F-. 8vo. original burgundy cloth gilt (binding lightly marked, faint leaf edge speckling, internally clean) in unpriced dustwrapper (a trifle rubbed & nicked); pp. viii, 264, with illustrations. 'I spent many weekends tramping the hills and dales, camping or sleeping rough, scrambling through caves and potholes, and climbing the gritstone edges,' he recalled.
