Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Inscribed by author on title page. Yellow cloth boards with brown lettering on cover and spine. Cattle brand designs in brown on cover. Boards have some soiling; slight shelf wear on edges; corners bumped. Jacket is missing.Tight binding and clean interior. Includes 11 plates with black and white examples of various cattle brands. This book explores the history and folk-lore surrounding cattle brands used in Mexico and the western United States. The author credits J. Frank Dobie and J.
