Scott - Project Leader f…or the BCW). The letter states as hand-sewn by Elizabeth and Jay Benforado at the Night Heron Press in Madison. Also laid-in (as published) is a photograph of the Wisconsin State Historical Society's copy of the original edition. The original was considered to be Wisconsin's first scientific imprint, and the first "west of the Great Lakes and north of St. Louis". ; 25B; 6 x 3-3/4"; 12 pages.
