First Edition
Hill, David Octavius (illustrator). First edition. 4to., 54 pp., complete with 10 hand-pulled photogravures, (12) pp. adverts. Custom binding of full tan calf, with black and gilt label on front and stamped leather label on spine. The original printed wrappers are bound in. Fine. Six photogravures by David Octavius Hill; one each by George Davison, Paul B. Haviland, Marshall R. Kernochan, and Alvin Langdon Coburn. The custom binding was created to compliment the design of Camera Work's printed wrappers.
