Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. First Printing. DJ has two thin slices to the front which barely touch the cover underneath. DJ has chipping to the top edges and light edge wear. Cover edges are light foxed. Slight paper clip impression to the top edge of title page and preceeding pages. Endpapers and DJ edges are browned.

Light edge wear to the covers. Browning to the front and rear hinges. Name of Jay Bicknell stamped on the front paste down. Limited, numbered, signed edition of 75 copies. Signed by author on the verso of title page and numbered 24. Another Inscription on same page reads, "For Ruby and Jay with an old affection very sincerely Jack.August 31, 1943." Daniel Whitehead Hicky was best known to his friends as "Jack Hicky.".
