Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. New York: W.W. Norton & Company, 1969. xi, 343 pp. 24 x 16.5 cm. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to cover and spine, in a dustjacket printed with grey. Some light sunning and toning to spine of jacket, with chipping to spine ends. Some nicking and chipping to extremities of jacket, with a 2 cm closed tear and some creasing to head of front panel of jacket. Jacket is now protected in a mylar cover. Some mild bumping and rubbing to spine ends and corners of boards of book. Some mild age toning to endpapers. Faint red stamp to verso of rear free endpaper stating that book is a duplicate copy from the Library of Congress. Interior is otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding sound. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Good.

Binding has remained firm. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Slight forward lean to text block. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges.
