Some tanning and foxing to all surfaces, particularly to spine.

First Edition. Very nice copy in somewhat chipped and worn dust-wrapper. Inscribed by the author on the front free end-paper: "For C.W. Beaumont, whose books have given me hours of pleasure, from William Ridler". The author was a bookseller and bibliographer with a particular interest in British private presses and Beaumont the founder and operator of the Beaumont Press. A splendid Association Copy.

Pages a little dog-eared; first leaf a little foxed. Box a bit worn, but doing its job just fine. The author's first novel.
