G.K.Chesterton said that Bateman was ' the Master of Wild Exactitude', and nearly 100 of his superb caricatures in this collection bear this out with gusto, such as in 'Sale Shopping As Seen From Behind The Counter' and in his numerous drawings of sporting scenes.

In pictorial boards with light wear to the spine ends and corners, and a slightly darkened spine.internally the pages are very lightly tanned to the margins but the book beautifully showcases over 90 of Bateman's cartoons.
