First edition. Signed limited edition. Publisher's original quarter brown leather with gilt titles to the spine, marbled paper covered boards. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with just a little rubbing to the extremities. The contents with just a couple of isolated spots, are clean throughout and without previous owners' marks. Issued in a limited edition of 150 copies, this example numbered 51 and signed by Tim Powers and James Blaycock in black ink on the limitation page. The foreword and afterword are unique to this limited edition and not present in trade edition published by Arbor House / William Morrow. 'The Broken Bubble' is one of a series of straight novels Dick wrote between 1952 and 1960 (during the same period he was publishing science fiction stories in various Pulp magazines).
