Despite this the colour plates are all in fine condition and beautiful. Book is in very good condition. Reprinted edition with 8 additional plates. Made, printed and bound in Germany by K.G. Lohse. 24 plates with minor toning to edges which add to the character. 10 pp of text. Plates depict fox hunting, steeplechasing, racing, angling, shooting, game birds, waterfowl and shorebirds. Includes work by Henry Alken (1748-1854), Robert Pollard (1755-1838), James Barenger (1780-1831), F.C. Turner and George Stubbs (1724-1806).
